We were impressed by the quality craftsmanship of our Berkeley Home from day one. The Channing was a perfect houseplan for our family; we love all the little "extras" like the tech room off the kitchen and the "secret" room under the stairs. Our kids call it their "clubhouse" and can't wait to show everyone who visits our home where they hide their toys. We had an amazing experience building our home with Berkeley Building Co. We sold our home of 16 years and moved into a rental until we could find our forever home. We have 2 young boys and really needed a home we could depend on. We had several friends tell us we should buy a foreclosure or short sale home, as it would be much easier and cheaper than building. We heard horrible stories of dishonest builders that cut corners, didn't follow the allotted time line to complete the job. I admit we were very discouraged about the idea of trusting someone to build our home.

That was until we met Joe Atalla and his amazing team. Holly (his real estate agent), Jenna (his designer) and Ray (his foreman) were absolutely wonderful to deal with from the moment we met them. We felt that they were honest, sincere and professional. We could tell that they truly understood that they weren't just here to build a building. They had their hearts in building our family a home where we would share years and years of love, laughter and memories.

They were very attentive to what we wanted in our home. The process of choosing all the colors, flooring, lighting, tile, cabinetry was very enjoyable. Joe, Holly and Jenna were all involved in assisting us with what could have been a very daunting task had we been left alone to make all those choices.

The actual building process was very well organized and it was completed exactly when they said it would be. They stayed in communication throughout the process, Ray organized the subs very well. We were on site frequently and every sub that was working on our home was very friendly. Several told us of the quality products Joe uses in his homes as well as how grateful they feel working for such an honest builder. Our real estate agent has been an agent in the Treasure Valley for around 30 years, however this was her first build job with Berkeley. She was very impressed with how well organized this job was as well as the integrity and honesty of Joe and his team.

We can not express our gratitude to all that were involved in building our home. We truly feel blessed to have been involved in this wonderful process of building our forever home with Berkeley Building Co.!

Our family enjoyed working with Joe Atalla and everyone associated with Berkely Building Company, and they worked tirelessly until we were satifisfied with the custom home Joe designed for us. Any issue that came up, they were quick to respond to and quick to resolve. We are enjoying our home more and more each day.
