Our Berkeley Team had the honor of volunteering this month remodeling the basement of the Women and Children’s Alliance in Boise. The organization’s mission is to provide safety, healing and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault. The WCA is one of our favorite charitable organizations to work with and this opportunity was as impactful as it was fun! The basement, before our work, was a series of several small rooms that were used for storage, but organization and capacity were limited. We ripped out several walls to create a large open space for them to do large donation drives, organize donated items, and overall support more people in need in our community. Our team partnered with Ideal Floors, Sherwin Williams and Knight Interiors, Inc. to finish the basement remodel off with new flooring, a fresh coat of paint, and ceiling repairs. We are so happy with how the remodel turned out, and even more grateful to know that this space will be used to help impact the lives of many for years to come.
